An Anti-Corruption Court on Wednesday dismissed the bail pleas of Sindh government officials, who are facing the charges of misappropriation and embezzlement of funds. The Medical Superintendent of Sindh Government Hospital, Korangi, Dr Syed Khalid Bukhari, store in-charge Faisal Sagheer, accountant Kamran Khanzada and Najam Ali Shah had filed bail pleas through their counsels.

The special judge of the anti-corruption court, Imdad Khoso, heard the bail pleas in which the applicants through their counsel requested the court to grant bail as according to them, the allegations against them were baseless. However, the public prosecutor Muhammad Arif Sitai opposed the bail pleas and requested the court not to grant bails to the accused.
